Policy for Distributing Public Relations/ Marketing Materials at the Library
As the distribution hub for Allegheny County Library Association libraries, the primary purpose for the Library's delivery service is to move library materials (books, books on tape, CDs, DVDs and other items) requested by customers throughout the library system in support of the interlibrary loan program. This critical exchange of library materials for our customers means that we travel about 88,000 miles per year in Allegheny County.
As an additional service, we have also distributed informational materials for the Carnegie Institute, the Regional Assets, registered nonprofit organizations and marketing partners. To request this free service, please review the
guidelines in this policy (revised effective April 18, 2005) and complete the
Distribution of Non-Library Public Relations Materials Request Form. Send faxes or email completed forms to the attention of:
